The Chuckwagon of Somerset is the exclusive caterer of The Hayloft and Heritage. A partner for more than two decades now, owners Jeff and Jill Latuch and their staff have provided a variety of meals to hundreds of weddings, rehearsal dinners, and events at our various properties. Ranging from traditional to formal and barbeque to prime rib, the Chuckwagon serves up delicious food and great service, topped with attention to detail and a pleasing presentation.

NOTE: Catering by the Chuckwagon is a required service.

Whether you're hosting 10 or 200+ guests at The Hayloft or Heritage - for rehearsal dinner, reception, after party, day-after brunch, a corporate function, or even picnic - collaborate with the Chuckwagon to carefully craft a menu that will delight you and your guests. Tailored to reflect your taste, Jeff and Jill also closely consider your budget, timeline, and any special accommodations or dietary concerns along the way. Add in special touches like a carving station, whole hog, or charcuterie bar, and you're well on your way to creating a memorable event in good taste!

  • Rotisserie Chicken - an assortment of bone-in breasts, drumsticks & thighs seasoned with barbeque rub and slow roasted

  • Roast Beef – braised, fork tender beef pot roast

  • Baked Ham – slow roasted and deliciously succulent tavern ham with horseradish

  • Golden Fried Chicken – Italian seasoned and hand breaded chicken breasts, drumsticks and thighs

  • Turkey – fresh turkey breast slow cooked in turkey broth for full flavor

​     Gourmet Greens Salad Bar - fresh mixed greens, assortment of vegetables, and dressings        

  • Green Beans – steamed, buttered, and seasoned with bacon or almondine

  • Buttered Corn – steamed, buttered, and seasoned

  • Glazed Baby Carrots – steamed and tossed with a butter & brown sugar glaze

  • California Blend – buttery mix of broccoli florets, cauliflower, and baby carrots

  • Rigatoni – fresh hot pasta tossed with fresh basil tomato sauce and topped with shredded mozzarella cheese; add fresh ground beef for additional $1.00 per person

  • Stuffing – homemade traditional bread stuffing, celery, onions, and seasonings

  • Scalloped Potatoes – thinly sliced potatoes layered and baked in a delicious cream sauce

  • Garlic Smashed Red Potatoes – baby red skinned potatoes smashed with fresh garlic

  • Smashed Golden Potatoes – Yukon Gold potatoes mashed and served with choice of beef or chicken gravy

  • Parsley Potatoes – baby red skinned potatoes simmered tender and tossed with warm butter, garlic, and chopped fresh parsley

  • Baked Potatoes – Idaho potatoes baked tender and accompanied with butter and sour cream

  • Shredded Potatoes – shredded Idaho potatoes baked in a savory, flavorful cream sauce (shredded cheddar cheese can be added upon request)

  • Mac-N-Cheese – hot, cheesy, gooey traditional baked macaroni and cheese - always a favorite

  • Pasta & Sauce - choice of penne or bowtie pasta and choice of fresh basil marinara or garlic olive oil herb sauce

  • Caprese Kabobs - fresh mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves on bamboo skewer with balsamic glaze

  • Spanakopita Phyllo Tarts - Delicious savory Greek pie with crispy layers of phyllo dough and a delicious filling of spinach and feta cheese

  • Cocktail Meatballs - Italian seasoned meatballs baked and simmered in a sweet-n-spicy grape barbeque sauce

  • Franks in a Blanket - a classical appetizer - mini hot dogs wrapped with puff pastry and baked golden brown

  • Mini Quiche - fresh pastry tart with a savory egg and vegetable filling, baked golden brown

Catering Details
  • Add 6% sales tax and 20% gratuity to all orders

  • Credit cards are accepted for Chuckwagon catering services with an assessed 3% service fee.

  • Pricing for children’s (under 8 years of age) meals are 50% off the rate of your catered selection.

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, lactose intolerant, and other allergy accommodations available upon request at an additional charge. Consult with the Chuckwagon staff to make needed arrangements.
