The Chuckwagon of Somerset is the exclusive caterer of The Hayloft and Heritage. A partner for more than two decades now, owners Jeff and Jill Latuch and their staff have provided a variety of meals to hundreds of weddings, rehearsal dinners, and events at our various properties. Ranging from traditional to formal and barbeque to prime rib, the Chuckwagon serves up delicious food and great service, topped with attention to detail and a pleasing presentation.

NOTE: Catering by the Chuckwagon is a required service. 

PRICING REFLECTED BELOW IS FOR THE 2023 SEASON AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE FOR SUBSEQUENT YEARS.

Whether you're hosting 10 or 200+ guests at The Hayloft or Heritage - for rehearsal dinner, reception, after party, day-after brunch, a corporate function, or even picnic - collaborate with the Chuckwagon to carefully craft a menu that will delight you and your guests. Tailored to reflect your taste, Jeff and Jill also closely consider your budget, timeline, and any special accommodations or dietary concerns along the way. Add in special touches like a carving station, whole hog, or charcuterie bar, and you're well on your way to creating a memorable event in good taste!

Includes signature bread bar with an abundance of specialty breads and homemade rolls, accompanied by an assortment of flavored butters

  • Rotisserie Chicken - an assortment of legs, breasts, and thighs seasoned with dry rub

  • Roast Beef – trimmed, seasoned, and slow roasted

  • Baked Tavern Ham – slow roasted and deliciously succulent

  • Breaded Chicken – hand breaded with Italian seasonings

  • Turkey – all white meat roasted low and slow in its own juices for full flavor

CHOOSE THREE SIDES (for Select & Choice menus)

  • ‘Make your own Salad’ presentation offers mixed greens, fresh vegetables, and a variety of toppings and dressings, including our very own Chuckwagon house dressing

  • Coleslaw - fresh cabbage and shredded vegetables tossed with a creamy dressing

  • Green Beans – choice of almondine or bacon

  • Corn – whole kernels with fresh butter

  • Glazed Carrots – butter and brown sugar

  • California Blend – broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots

  • Rigatoni – add meat for $1.00 extra per person

  • Homemade Bread Stuffing – fresh and moist

  • Scalloped Potatoes – prepared in white sauce

  • Red Skin Mashed Potatoes – baby reds mashed with garlic and butter

  • Golden Mashed Potatoes – served with gravy of choice

  • Red Skin Parsley Potatoes – baby reds with parsley, butter, and garlic

  • Baked Potatoes – baked and accompanied by butter and sour cream

  • Shredded Potatoes – served with cream sauce or cheddar

  • Macaroni & Cheese – Chuckwagon's very own creamy, cheesy favorite

WELCOME YOUR GUESTS WITH A TASTEFUL COCKTAIL HOUR

Consider adding these oh-so-good options to your event menu:

  • Cocktail meatballs, vegetable pinwheels, franks in a blanket or mini quiche – $3per person, per selection

  • Mushrooms stuffed with cream cheese – $3 per person, mushrooms stuffed with sausage – $4 per person, or mushrooms stuffed with crab – $5 per person, per selection

  • Bacon wrapped chicken, Buffalo chicken dip with dippers, spinach artichoke dip with specialty breads – $3 per person, per selection

  • Shrimp cocktail, marinated shrimp tortellini skewers with olives, tomatoes, and cheese, scallops wrapped in bacon, pulled pork sliders, cheeseburger sliders – $5 each per person, per selection

  • Grilled cheese bar – $6 per person

  • Variety of cheese balls – starting at $3 per person

  • Cubed cheese, four favorites accompanied with crackers and dip – $3 per person

  • Fresh seasonal fruit – $3 per person

  • Fresh vegetables and dip – $2 per person

  • Charcuterie table – starting at $10 per person

  • Treat your guests to a “Late Night Snack”

    • Unlimited homemade tortilla chips and authentic Mexican salsa – $3 per person

    • Unlimited fresh-made, warm donut bar – $2.50 per person

Catering Details
  • Add 6% sales tax and 15% gratuity to all orders

  • Credit cards are accepted for Chuckwagon catering services with an assessed 3% service fee.

  • Prices quoted above are for buffet style service. For plated and served meals, add $3 per person.

  • Pricing for children’s (ages 8 and under) meals are 50% the rate of your catered selection.

  • Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and allergy accommodations available upon request at an additional charge. Consult with the Chuckwagon staff to make needed arrangements.
