Welcome to

Heritage by the hayloft

The rich history of the Heritage spans more than six decades in the Svonavec family, once home to a herd of dairy cows and even transformed into a haunted house each fall in its former life.

Refreshed and reopened in 2021, the property rests on 40 bucolic acres shared with tall timber, seasonal crops, and the likes of deer, pheasants, fox, and other wildlife.

The Barn

Built in the early 1800s, the barn at the Heritage opens the door to the unexpected. Outside, a clean black and white finish is complemented by copper accents. Inside, custom farm tables and black Chiavari chairs seat 200+ guests on polished hardwood floors. Add in a custom bar, room for dancing, and loads of chic charm, and you have the ideal setting for your event.

Step out on the catwalk for a breath of fresh air or get social on the shaded patio out back, where you'll find a repurposed grain bin, a spot to rest your feet, handicapped-accessible restrooms, and room to roam the scenic property.

Step down to the lower level and discover a fully climate-controlled space and seating for 150 at round tables complete with basic linens and wooden patio chairs. Additional restrooms, dressing area, and full bar share the space with exposed stone walls and rich wood accents. Enjoy views of all four seasons in the Laurel Highlands through the full view garage door.

The Ceremony

Tucked away, off the beaten path and what seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the barn, the Enchanted Forest invites romance, special moments, or whatever your wedding dreams are made of, in a naturally timeless setting. Exchange vows in this cathedral of stately mature tress, a blank slate for your bespoke ceremony. Bring your vision to life with florals, fabric, and so much more.

Our climate-controlled lower level at the Heritage steps in as an inclement weather alternative. Exposed stone walls, hand-hewn beams, and wooden accents elevate the space, awaiting you and your guests.
